Hi! I’m Kristen.

I’m an engineer-turned-content writer living in Northeast Ohio with my husband and two daughters. After spending 10 years as a Quality Engineer in the automotive and medical device industries and the birth of my first daughter, I pivoted my career to pursue my passion for storytelling and digital content creation.

I’m deeply passionate about inspiring parents and educators to introduce children to the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) at an early age because I’ve seen the results in my own children. By encouraging curiosity and confidence through books, activities, and experiences, I believe we can help kids discover the wonders and curiosity of the world around them! Thus, my hope is that you find my page a valuable resource for unique STEAM opportunities, activities, and experiences designed for kids and families.

Additionally, my writing has been featured in Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine, Great Lakes Science Center, and WISH Cleveland (former nonprofit website). I’ve also collaborated with brands like Tangible Play, where delivering fun, comprehensive reviews of products for my readers are important to me.
