What did you think?

This book provides a simple introduction to fractions, making it perfect for my preschooler thanks to its engaging storyline. It is great for my elementary-aged child, who is just beginning to understand fractions. To fully grasp the concept, my kids needed to understand that fractions represent parts of a whole, and this book does a great job of illustrating that idea. The story is cute, with charming illustrations.

What did my mathematicians think?

They both love this book! At the moment, it’s one that’s pulled out at least once a week to read. The illustrative elements and educational pieces served as a helpful conversation starter to fractions.
