CLESTEM FESTIVAL

Explore the role of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in our daily lives on Oct 19^th at Baldwin Wallace

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Greater Cleveland STEM Foundation is planning the second annual greater CleSTEM Festival on Oct 19, 2019 at Baldwin Wallace University. The theme of the festival is “The Future Relies on Facts”. Expected to draw hundreds of supporters, CleSTEM Festival is meant to highlight the vital role Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) plays in our daily lives. All are welcome to attend this free event. The event kicks off at Strosacker Hall in Baldwin Wallace University at 10am. The festival will run from 10am to 4pm and includes talks, STEM educational booths and recruitment booths.

This year’s theme is “The Future Relies on Facts”. We developed this theme because credible and reliable facts are essential for making decisions on current issues and future policies that affect our daily lives. We aspire to bring professionals, students, innovators, parents and curiosity-seekers to explore STEM in a fun, interactive and festive environment. Children are particularly welcome to attend the festival and learn about the many ways in which they can engage in STEM now and in the future.

CleSTEM Festival aims to foster a celebration of STEM in Northeast Ohio by
Inspiring, Discovering, Educating, Advocating, and Sharing (IDEAS). During our festival attendees will have the opportunity to learn from leaders and professionals about how STEM is a part of our daily life, how to engage with STEM and how STEM is the reason we can enjoy bread!
